Pracheen Hanuman Mandir – A Sacred Beginning (1932)
Pracheen Hanuman Mandir was established in 1932 by a revered Sadhu, whose life was devoted to prayer, service, and the worship of Hanuman Ji. In its early years, the temple was a very small, mathia-type structure—simple in form, yet rich in spiritual presence. Despite its modest size, the temple quickly became a place where people gathered with faith, hope, and devotion.

The Sadhu and His Legacy of Service
The founding Sadhu was known for his humility, generosity, and unwavering compassion. He was the brother of Late Shri Satya Dev Sharma and the uncle of Shri Kamlesh Kumar Sharma, and he lived a life dedicated to helping others. Devotees remember him as someone who listened with patience, guided with wisdom, and gave freely to those in need. His deep devotion to Hanuman Ji and his selfless service left a lasting impression on all who met him.
Faith Remembered Through Experience
Many devotees believe that the Sadhu was blessed with the grace of Hanuman Ji. One incident often remembered by the community tells of a devotee from Gujarat who had been childless for many years. After visiting the temple and seeking the Sadhu’s blessings, he soon received joyful news of his wife’s pregnancy. He later returned to express his gratitude, strengthening the faith of many who witnessed this moment.
Today, Pracheen Hanuman Mandir stands as a continuation of this sacred legacy—a place of belief, hope, and service—carrying forward the values with which it was founded.
